DUGLESS Spillage Cleaning Units
The innovative Conveyer Spillage Cleaning Units are designed in Western Australia by the Dugless Machinery Company and are built fit-for-purpose for mining operations. The units are remote controlled and safely removes material spillage from underneath operational conveyor systems and other inaccessible places.
At 560mm high, the Dugless 900 is capable of safely maneuvering under low conveyer systems without any risk to workers or equipment. In just 12 hours (five day payback period) it is able to recover 300 tonnes of iron ore. The unit’s safety features include a personal proximity transmitter that is worn by the operator to avoid the machine coming close and four proximity protection cones which demarcate the area in which the unit can operate, with an automatic shut-off outside the zone.
The Dugless 1200, developed especially for use in underground mining operations, will be launched in July 2010 at the Queensland Mining Exhibition.
The Dugless Machinery Company is a related group entity to Minprovise.
